MORAY AND SALT MINES BY QUAD BIKE

• Pick-up: we will begin the tour by picking you up from your hotel in Cusco at approximate 6:30 – 7:00 am, from there, we will drive north of the city for about 1 hour to each our base in the Cruzpata area.
• Upon arrival, you will be assigned your ATV (quad bike). Our professional instructor will explain how to operate it safely. After a short practice session and once you feel confident, well begin our adventure.
• We set off on an exciting 45-minute ATV ride along scenic trails surrounded by mountains, valleys, and traditional village. Our destination is Moray, the impressive Inca agricultural laboratory. The circular terraces, shaped like a sunke amphitheater, created different microclimates that allowed the Incas to experiment with crops at various altitudes.
• After exploring Moray, well return to Cruzpata to leave the ATVs and continue by vehicle to the famous Maras Salt Mines. Here, you’ll learn about the ancient artisanal salt extraction techniques that have been in use since Inca times, while admiring the stunning white pools cascading down the mountains.
• Finally, we will return to Cusco, dropping you off at your hotel at approximately 1:30 pm.
• ***Morning tour: 7:00 am to 1:30 pm.
• ***Afternoon tour:  1.00 pm to 7:30 pm.

• Tennis shoes or boots.
• Warn clothes.
• Sun block / glasses.

• Cash in Peruvians soles for souvenirs.
• Please keep in mind you may get very dirty.
